ICC Headquarters
ICC was founded in 1919 under the leadership of its first president Etienne Clementel, a former French minister of commerce. Since that time the international secretariat of the organization has been located in Paris, France.
More than 160 permanent staff members, representing 25 nationalities, work at ICC headquarters, which houses the following departments and divisions:

Led by the Secretary General, the ICC international secretariat develops and carries out the work programme of ICC and remains in close contact with the extensive ICC network of members and regional offices around the world.
With conference facilities and a selection of large meeting rooms, ICC headquarters is the venue of choice for a range of ICC trainings, conferences, meetings and arbitration hearings. Situated in the heart of the city, ICC headquarters is conveniently located and easily accessible for visitors from near or far.
