As governments gathered in Rio on the 20th anniversary of the first Earth Summit the ICC C4I Forum launched business activities by bringing together senior corporate executives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials, and young leaders to discover and discuss new ideas, technologies and solutions to deliver a green economy.
Contributing to the on-going international debate on the policy framework for green growth and its effective implementation, the C4I Forum showcased forward-looking strategies, solutions, and design approaches. This event created opportunities for intensive dialogue and a work-together atmosphere to bridge the gap between policy-making and the implementation of sustainable development strategies, and to discuss best practice experiences. There also was a specific focus on global value chains and deepening linkages within Latin American and Caribbean economies, especially Brazil.
