Strasbourg, France IP Guidelines Launch

The Intellectual Property Guidelines for Business, was launched in Europe on 17 October 2008 during a special session at the EU Conference on Industrial Property Rights in the Internal Market in Strasbourg, France.

Keynote speech

During his keynote speech at the European Union (EU) Conference on Industrial Property Rights in Strasbourg, France, Charlie McCreevy, European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, welcomed the Guidelines in stating "I am extremely pleased that the International Chambers of Commerce, and the Business Action to Stop Counterfeiting and Piracy initiative, will unveil new intellectual property guidelines to help businesses to manage and protect their valuable property."
