ICC business charter for sustainable development (2000) (EN/FR/ES)

The Business Charter for Sustainable Development provides a basic framework of reference for action by individual corporations and business organizations throughout the world. It has been recognized as a complement to environmental management systems. To this end, ICC, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) have developed a kit to help entreprises integrate environmental management systems in the daily management practices, a step consistent with the objectives set out in this Charter.
