ICC Guidelines for Cross-Border Traders in Goods
Prepared by the ICC Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitation
These are 59 standards offered as best practices of safe and secure conduct for cross-border traders in goods and which serve as ICC’s baseline recommendations for a harmonized understanding of the criteria for a trusted trader. These guidelines are intended to be used by traders in the design and management of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programmes and to be taken into account by governments when assessing the risk represented by operators.
