Hands BulbBusiness Action for Energy (BAE) is a temporary business network to facilitate energy related business input into the United Nations Commission for Sustainable Developments (UNCSD) process.

BAE’s Key Objectives are to:
  • Coordinate the delivery of international business views, positions, and recommendations on energy issues;
  • Facilitate information sharing among industrial groups;
  • Communicate the depth and variety of energy related activities undertaken by businesses
BAE’s Key Messages:
  • Business is keen to work with the United Nations’ Commission on Sustainable Development (UNCSD)
  • Business, with significant operational and resource capabilities, is central in delivering energy sustainability
  • Partnerships enable business to successfully deliver sustainable energy solutions
  • Many companies are continuing to take a pro-active role in improving access to energy
