BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY AT CSD14

The fourteenth session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD-14) started on 1 May at UN Headquarters in New York. As the first year of the second implementation cycle, CSD-14 will review progress in the following areas: Energy for Sustainable Development; Industrial Development; Air pollution/ Atmosphere; and Climate Change .

4. CSD 14 Day of Business & Industry co-organized by BAE and the UN
The CSD 14 Day of Business & Industry to be held in the Dag Hammarskjold library and co-organized by the UN and BAE - invites you to debate the gaps and ways forward with regard to shaping a sustainable energy future in three panels, focusing on technology, climate change and development - Programme for the Day of Business and Industry.

5. Business and Industry Publication for CSD14
Business has the capacity to address the relevant energy challenges, and is taking a proactive role. A selection of case studies have been compiled in a publication  and this document provides examples of ongoing contributions of business to sustainable development in the energy sector.
