Tradelink Electronic Chamber of Commerce is responsible to provide an end user software for applicants, while Information Technology Services Department, Hong Kong SAR Government developed backend systems for issuing organisations to process ECO applications.

For the long term benefits of improved efficiency and competitiveness of the business community of Hong Kong, we are enhancing our WebCO system to allow traders to apply ECO for goods of non-Hong Kong origin. The system also allows traders to create trade related documents like PO, Price List, Invoice and trade declarations, in which common data can be reused and converted in between. We anticipate the system can help users reduce data input time and typing errors.
