URDG Master contains over 12 hours of online training and instruction in URDG 758, the rules governing the operation of demand guarantees. It is designed to ensure proficiency in this area of trade finance work.

Trainees who complete URDG Master qualify for 12 PDUs towards recertification for the Certified Documentary Credit Specialist(CDCS) accreditation offered by BAFT-IFSA and IFS.

The course content is written by Dr Georges Affaki, Chair of the URDG 758 Drafting Group and Vice Chair of the ICC Banking Commission, and Gary Collyer, Technical Adviser to the ICC Banking Commission.

The training is divided into 4 Modules:

Module 1: Demand Guarantees
This module provides a firm foundation in the operation of demand guarantees and counter-guarantees and outlines the scope of application of the URDG 758 rules.

Module 2: URDG 758 Examined
This module provides an article-by-article analysis of the URDG 758, including key areas such as:
- Amendments to demand guarantees
- Article 15 'Requirements for demand'
- Expiry provisions
- Governing law and jurisdiction provisions
- Counter-guarantees
- Force Majeure
- Examination
- Treatment of non-documentary conditions

Module 3: Case Studies
This module covers key aspects of demand guarantee work, including: applying for a guarantee; issuance, amendments, transfer, assignment of proceeds and payment of demand guarantees and counter-guarantees.

Module 4: Assessment Module
This module provides a comprehensive assessment for trainees to test their knowledge of demand guarantees and URDG 758.
