The Trade Facilitation Implementation Guide (TFIG) was developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). ICC works closely with the UNECE in several areas for cross-border trade facilitation.
This online guide assists in the implementation of trade-facilitation reform for the public and private sector. The TFIG helps with the identification, examination and selection on available solutions and possible paths for policy objectives. It provides the user with a brief summary on the principles and the benefits of trade facilitation and explains the different steps and negotiation process that lead to the Trade Facilitation Agreement. Additionally, it also discusses various business domains which are subject matter areas shaped by a supply-chain perspective on trade facilitation.
