Established in 1979, the ICC Institute of World Business Law, a renowned research and training centre of excellence in international business law, regularly stages training seminars and conferences on a wide range of topics related to international business law. Working closely with the ICC Court of Arbitration and ICC policy commissions the Institute also acts as a think tank and prepares publications that include contributions from well-known and respected practitioners.

Paul A. Gélinas, Member of the Montreal and Paris Bars and Chairman of the ICC Institute’s Admission Committee said: "The Institute is a long standing and truly international forum dedicated to fostering business law and arbitration throughout the world. Our newly launched membership programme will allow more specialists and followers to share in our action alongside renowned practitioners and scholars. This unique opportunity, coupled with other benefits including a listing in the Membership Directory, must unquestionably be seized.”

The Institute has simplified membership to just one category of “Institute Members”. After two years of membership, members will also be eligible to join the Institute Council which remains its governing body.

“This is a terrific opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic group of practitioners interested in the betterment of international business law,” said ICC Institute Chair Yves Derains.

As well as the opportunity to contribute to the development of international business law, Institute members also enjoy:
