ICC Ghana relaunch bolsters ICC presence in Africa
ICC Ghana, one of the world business organization’s 89 national committees located worldwide, was re-launched today at the 2014 Ghana Economic Forum. The relaunch, in one of Africa’s fastest growing economies, is set to strengthen the presence of ICC in Africa and further expand ICC’s extensive global network that currently comprises 6.5 million enterprises in over 130 countries.
Secretary General Jean-Guy Carrier is in Ghana this week to mark the occasion

of Trade and Industry Haruna Iddrisu and Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood.

International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.

in 2014, the ICC Banking Commission and the international factoring
organization FCI hosted an event in Ghana to provide banks and financial
institutions in the country with an
insight into the workings and key elements of factoring, a type of financial
transaction. The event featured an opening address by Mr Doni-Kwame and was
attended by more than 60 high-level executives from banks, factors and other
institutions interested in the development of factoring in Africa.
