Proposal or appointment by ICC of Neutrals in ad hoc proceedings
Parties in settlement proceedings that are not conducted pursuant to
the ICC ADR Rules (ad hoc
proceedings) may nevertheless request ICC to propose or appoint Neutrals
(Mediators, Conciliators, Adjudicators, Neutral Evaluators, etc).
Such proposals or appointments are possible under the separate ICC
Rules for Expertise (“Expertise Rules”), following a Request for the proposal
or appointment of an Expert (Neutral).
Such ad hoc settlement
proceedings will not be administered by the ADR Secretariat.
