Lawyers, Contracts and Negotiations
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) will be supporting a seminar organized for the 2nd year running by the Faculty of Law of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) which will be held on 11 to 14 March on how to master, draft and negotiate international contracts.
The twenty-hour seminar, will stretch over four days, with the entire afternoon of Thursday 13 March dedicated to ICC Dispute Resolution:
- Andrea Carlevaris, the Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and Director of Dispute Resolution Services , will speak about arbitration clauses in M&A contracts and the arbitration of M&A disputes.
- Sami Houerbi, Director of ICC Dispute Resolution Services for Eastern Mediterranean, Middle-East & Africa , will give some guidance into the choice of the appropriate approach for resolving disputes, negotiating and drafting a dispute resolution clause.
- Mathilde Vital Durand, Deputy Counsel, ICC International Centre for ADR will focus on the new developments in alternative dispute resolution and will introduce the new ICC Mediation Rules
At the end of the seminar, a certificate will be delivered to all participants.
