The International Chamber of Commerce ("ICC") will support the International Mediation Institute (“IMI”) conference on shaping the future of international dispute resolution (“IDR”). The conference will be held on 29 October 2014, at the Livery Hall in the City of London followed by a reception at the Guildhall Art Gallery.

Speakers include experienced in-house counsel from different sectors, dispute resolution specialists and representatives of dispute resolution institutions including ICC. The Lord Mayor of London will provide the opening keynote. Andrea Carlevaris, Secretary General of ICC International Court of Arbitration and Director of ICC Dispute Resolution Services will address ICC’s innovations in the field of dispute resolution.

Key topics include:

  • What do users need from international mediation and arbitration?
  • What are the innovations provided by the leading IDR providers?
  • How can the use of mediation be expanded?

Powered by IMI’s technology partner Crystal Interactive, the conference will be wholly interactive. Participants will be issued with electronic devices to communicate their comments, suggestions and questions as the conference progresses, and to vote on all proposals as they arise.

ICC members are entitled to a discount on registration fees, and CLE & CPD Credits are being arranged.
