  • Event Type: Consultation
  • Language: English

A high-level consultation on the World Trade Agenda with business leaders from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region

Objective

Business leaders from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are invited to a high-level gathering of policymakers and CEOs to provide regional input on the recommendations of the Business World Trade Agenda, an initiative launched by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in partnership with Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The aim of this initiative is ultimately to drive World Trade Organization (WTO) multilateral trade talks out of an 11-year deadlock and “beyond Doha”. ICC and Qatar Chamber launched the initial trade recommendations in Beijing in September 2012, and are carrying out a series of global consultations to seek feedback from business leaders from all regions of the world.
