2012 ICC Rules of Arbitration, One Year On... A review, challenges and futur outlook...

For the seminar, John Beechey, the President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration ("the Court"), will clarify the role of the ICC Court to the audience as well as relate recent interesting cases which the Court had to deal with, especially with the 2012 ICC Rules.

Other speakers representing the Court will take stock of the 2012 Rules, how they have implemented and the issues relating to time & cost. Corporate counsel including legal experts and users of ICC arbitration, Japanese scholars, and representatives of the Court will also discuss the present circumstances of international dispute resolution in Japan and how to promote ICC arbitration.

This half-day seminar will provide an invaluable learning opportunity for corporate legal professionals and practitioners involved in international commercial transactions and dispute resolution.
