On 25 April 2013 in Mexico City, an ICC YAF Conference will be organized, on "The Appointment of Arbitrators: an Attribution of the Parties, the Institution, or Both?". Leading practitioners will discuss arbitrator appointment, a very current topic in international arbitration nowadays.
The first part of the event will feature short lectures on appointment of arbitrators by the parties or by the institution. For the final part of the conference, participants will be divided in two separate groups: each one will advance the advantages of each appointment method in the fashion of a debate.
