On 22 February 2013, the Europe Chapter of the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) will be organizing a free of charge conference in Munich (Germany) on "Confidentiality in Arbitration".

The seminar will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration, and to enrich their network in the region.

Confidentiality in Arbitration' is one of the most important and most disputed areas in international arbitration.
The following topics will be addressed:

- Confidentiality of the arbitral process as such: Current developments in commercial and investment arbitration
- The tribunal's powers with regard to confidentiality: Institutional framework and international practice
- Specific measures of confidentiality protection within arbitral proceedings: the tribunal's flexibility, the right to confidentiality, and the right to be heard
