Third Parties in Arbitration

On 15 June 2013, as closure for the V Latin-American Conference of Arbitration (CLA 2013) in Buenos Aires, practitioners and arbitrators will be discussing issues related to the role of third parties in international arbitration.
The first panel will be addressing issues related to third parties in the context of commercial arbitration, focusing on parent companies, contract-binded third parties, and shareholders.
The second panel will be focusing on issues particular to investment arbitration, such as the presentation of amicus curiae briefs, the intervention of third States and third-party funding.
On the eve of the CLA 2013, 12 June, the ICC International Court of Arbitration will also be organizing a workshop on case management techniques, complex arbitrations and emergency arbitrator. Link to the event.
