Workshop – Intercultural success: what, how, who and why?

More and more, we are called upon to be skilled intercultural communicators and actors. This is in particularly true for people working in the international dispute resolution field. Communicating with people from very different background and cultures is part of our daily lives in international arbitration. So how can we communicate effectively in this setting and ensure that we remain authentic in our communication whilst being alive to the social and cultural setting and adjusting easily to it? These questions are now at the heart of global business, and managing the intercultural dynamic has become a key competency for successful people. Old notions, old stereotypes have faded and to be effective, we need a new and highly sophisticated approach. This workshop will lay the groundwork for that approach, and provide participants with practice and the opportunity to consider how to add to unconscious skills they no doubt already possess.
