ICC panel explores trade-climate change links
Bonn, 12 June 2008  The most important multilateral negotiations with wide-ranging impact on the world economy are going on simultaneously: to agree on a global framework to address climate change, and the Doha Round of multilateral trade talks. To explore the links between these interrelated issues, trade and climate change, ICC hosted a side event at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) last week in Bonn.

ICC holds sectoral workshop at UNFCCC

ICC promotes business-government collaboration at G8 energy ministers meeting
Paris, 5 June 2008  World business stands ready to work closely with governments to find comprehensive and viable solutions for rising energy prices and demand for energy, ICC said in a letter to energy ministers who will be attending a G8 meeting in Aomori, Japan from 7 to 8 June.

Paris, 23 May 2008  The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has put forward a series of practical proposals to address environmental concerns through cooperative actions between governments and the private sector in a letter to environment ministers attending the G8 environment ministers meeting, 24-26 May in Kobe, Japan.

Bonn, 21 May 2008  As the search intensifies for ways to tame soaring food prices, the International Chamber of Commerce is urging COP-9 negotiators to consider multiple solutions as the most effective way to spread sustainable agricultural practices needed to feed a growing world population.

ICC: Access and benefit sharing must embrace business diversity
Bonn, 20 May 2008  An international regime on access and benefit sharing (ABS) of genetic resources must consider the wide variety of ways business sectors use these resources, the International Chamber of Commerce said today, speaking at the 9th Conference of the Parties (COP-9) of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Convention for Biological Diversity (CBD).
