Entries will be judged by an eminent international panel representing diverse sectors and backgrounds. The judging panel is managed by Alan Detheridge. The names of additional judges will be released shortly.
Alan Detheridge
Alan Detheridge spent 30 years with the Royal Dutch Shell Group. He retired in 2007 as the Group's Vice President for External Affairs where, in that capacity, he liaised with home and host governments, non-governmental organizations, multi-lateral agencies and foundations. His particular interest was (and is still) the development of multi-stakeholder partnerships to tackle issues facing the developing world, particularly in Africa.
Alan is a fellow of the Lincoln Center for Ethics at Thunderbird School of Global Management and a former associate director of The Partnering Initiative, a global programme of the International Business Leaders Forum. He is on the boards of the Synergos Institute, Africare, Management Sciences for Health and the International Foundation for Education and Self Help, and he also serves on the advisory board of the Revenue Watch Institute.
