Fifteen million children in developing countries have received school meals through the programme.

The Tetra Pak Food for Development Office (FfDO) based in Sweden is a sustainable economic and social development project which applies the company's business expertise in food production and packaging to combat extreme poverty and hunger. FfDO provides food to schoolchildren and works with local agriculture to improve links between production, processing and consumption. Fifteen million children in developing countries received school meals in Tetra Pak packages in 2004. Programmes exist in countries like Guatemala, Palestine, Georgia, Bangladesh, Iran, the Philippines and Indonesia.
