ICC Anti-corruption Clause
The Anti-corruption Clause is a tool which will preserve trust between parties, deter corruption in the negotiation and performance of a contract, and preserve the sanctity of contracts.
The ICC Anti-corruption Clause adds the tool of contractual anti-corruption compliance to bolster ICC’s role in leading anti-corruption best practice compliance for companies. It also provides the simplicity of creating a baseline of anti-corruption compliance between parties to a contract. It can be used by MNEs and SMEs alike.
This Clause was developed through cooperation between the ICC Commission on Corporate Responsibility and Anti-corruption and the ICC Commission on Commercial Law and Practice which develops the world renowned Incoterms®.
