ICC's contribution to the UNFCCC process

Based on ICC's long-standing relationship with the UN and widely recognized role as the world's business organization, the ICC and its members continue to play a vital, dual role during the UNFCCC climate change ongoing negotiations by:

• Representing the policy positions of ICC member companies and associations;
• Assembling, coordinating and presenting the activities and messages of over one hundred active business and industry organizations concerned about the potential impacts and opportunities presented by the negotiations. They are most commonly known as BINGOs.
