The Kenya Parliament enacted the Anti-Counterfeit Act to prohibit counterfeiting, trade and all other dealings in counterfeit goods and establish the Anti-Counterfeit Agency (ACA). ACA is the engine in the fight against counterfeits by providing training, research, consumer awareness and co-ordination with national, regional and international organizations in the effective enforcement of intellectual property rights.
