BASCAP works closely with national groups to more effectively tackle IP enforcement issues on a country-by-country basis. To date BASCAP has offered policy recommendations in Canada, Kenya, Russia, Turkey and the Ukraine.
By identifying key, cooperative countries and creating a forum in which the public and private sector can exchange best practices and discuss what’s at risk from counterfeiting and piracy, important policy recommendations, messages, and enforcement methods are able to reach beyond the meeting room.
