According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, counterfeit CD sales make up 20% of all music sales in Portugal. These street sales of counterfeit music are thought to be the cause of an 11% drop in sales of CDs by volume, and a 6% fall in terms of value, in Portugal last year. (1) |
