Die Zollverwaltung hat im Jahre 2005 Waren im Wert von 213 Mio. Euro beschlagnahmt. Die Anzahl der sichergestellten Produkte stieg von 4,8 Mio. auf 11,5 Mio. Damit hat der Zoll eine neue "Bestmarke" erreicht.(Bundesministerium der Finanzen/Federal Ministry of Finances.  )

Germany is ranked 6th in the 2005 PC Software Piracy Rankings: 20 Countries with the Lowest Piracy Rates, dropping three points from 2004. In terms of software piracy losses, Germany ranked 4th with $1,920 million in 2005. |

Sportartikel:

Die Beschlagnahmen bei Sportartikeln sind im Jahr 2005 weiter gestiegen. Vor allem gefälschte Sportschuhe gingen den Zollbeamten oft ins Netz.

Zigaretten:

|
Die Zollverwaltung stellte 255 Mio. gefälschte Zigaretten namhafter Markenhersteller sicher. Damit steigerte sie die Anzahl der aufgegriffenen Zigaretten im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 100 Mio. Stck.
