A survey (Spring 2004) was sent to 72 companies in Switzerland to evaluate how they were affected by counterfeiting and piracy. Of these companies, 64% claim to be affected by counterfeiting and piracy while 54% were directly affected in the previous year. The largest impact comes from trademark and design counterfeiters, with a 47% increase over the last 3 years. Losses in the watch industry range from tens of thousands of Swiss francs to annual losses of CHF 800 million. (En)  (Fr)
