EBITT Commission/BASIS initiative


Internship Description

The Commission on E-Business, IT and Telecoms (EBITT) and ICC’s initiative Business Action to Support the Information Society (BASIS) is seeking an intern/stagiaire with a convention de stage and for all non-UE residents, valid papers (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) to participate in our closely knit team as of January 2009 for a period of 3 months.

 

The intern will train and assist in the development and implementation of new and current projects and activities. He/she would also help with preparations for BASIS activities.

 

The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree or equivalent. He/she will be a fluent English speaker with solid writing and organizational skills, who is meticulous in carrying out their required duties. The intern’s experience will include both administrative and substantive tasks. He/she should be a team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international environment with a dynamic team.

 

Prior exposure to Internet and Telecoms issues would be a plus, as would any communications/PR and events planning experience.
