Asharqia Chamber of Commerce – Entrepreneurship development programmes

Among its various activities, the Asharqia Chamber established the first SMEs Development Center (SMEDEC) in Saudi Arabia in July 2000 and subsequently launched the Entrepreneurship Development Programmes. The vision of SMEDEC was to be the essential body for supporting entrepreneurs and SMEs development in KSA. SMEDEC has designed the in-house innovative entrepreneurship development programmes (EDP) for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region to foster entrepreneurship in the whole region and to enhance the competitiveness of existing SMEs.

Youth entrepreneurship development programme ENTRUM - Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The youth entrepreneurship development programme ENTRUM, launched by the Estonian CCI in cooperation with the Estonian Energy Corporation “Eesti Energia” and based on voluntary contributions of public, private and non-profit sectors, has become a leading power of national youth entrepreneurship development in Estonia. The aim is to create a new generation of Estonians with strong entrepreneurial mind-sets and practical skills, professional contacts and experience of launching business ideas. ENTRUM is the first private sector initiative in the field of youth entrepreneurship development, where methodology was designed and implemented by entrepreneurs taking into consideration the needs, values and development perspectives of modern economy.
