Against the backdrop of weak global economic recovery and China’s shifting foreign trade policy focusing on import expansion, China Chamber of International Commerce has developed the project "China International Import Expo" to create the first largest professional import trading platform nationwide in the Yangtze River Delta, help expand imports from foreign countries, promote international trade, and boost global economic growth.

Leningrad Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Association of exporters and importers

The Association of exporters and importers was founded in 2005 by the Leningrad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LRCCI). The project was started due to the necessity of uniting the companies-members of LRCCI that are engaged in foreign economic activities. The main fields of the Association activities are to render the consulting support for issues covering foreign economic activities, monitor present legislation governing the foreign economic activities, detect legislative rules that impede the effectiveness of foreign trade and submitting proposals to the State bodies for changes, assistance in export promotion of goods and services, assistance in adaptation of business activities for working process in frames of World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations, to hold regular seminars arrangements, round-table meetings on current issues of foreign trade activities and other educational activities.

Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry – G.E.F.I

The project was launched in 2007 with the creation of an Internet platform for the dematerialization of the certificate of origin. It meets the needs of its customers to obtain quickly, without moving and in a secure way a part of the custom documents needed to export. This also meets the needs of customers to avoid many trips when the document is not compliant and must be corrected. The system allows the staff of the Paris Chamber to contact the customer in case of problems and to make required modifications online without any delay.

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry – South Yorkshire international trade centre

The project contained within this submission has achieved a step change in the fortunes of international trade within numerous businesses throughout the region, and beyond. Implemented in an innovative partnership, the first of its kind, with our colleagues at the Chambers of Commerce in Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster, and with the active support from both Sheffield Universities, and with the full backing of the four local government authorities, the SYITC has become a legacy of business support and achieved unprecedented results.
