Our nominating authorities have been making large strides in the process of choosing their candidates!

ICC Mexico has targeted all the institutions, enterprises and entrepreneurs that would be interested in participating by sending both personalized and general invitations to nominate a candidate. Additionally, they are building a section in their website that will give people all the information they need to know about the Award while intensely promoting the event on their social media sites. For the facilitation of the Award, they have joined forces with Aliarse por México, a Mexican business initiative that actively promotes Corporate Social Responsibility and awards enterprises annually that conduct themselves according to these standards. Also, one of its members will be part of the local jury. So far, four organizations and companies - including Wal-Mart Mexico Foundation, Sanofi-Aventis Mexico, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma, and FESAC Hermosillo - have respond to ICC Mexico to become local candidates.

The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce in Canada is also a local nominating authority. They have created a local nomination committee to select a nominee. Once the nominee had been chosen, the Past-President and the Executive Director of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce sat down with him/her and explained the entire process, after which the individual accepted the nomination. Saskatoon decided to hold the name of the nominee in confidence until their "Celebrate Success!" Awards Gala.

Norway, Qatar, Korea, and Greece are examples of some of the other countries so far who have established this programme within their suite of services.
