4th Corporate Governance Roundtable – Prague 2007
Each year the Financial Services Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce hosts business leaders, investors, corporate governance experts, and government officials at a Corporate Governance Roundtable discussion to promote business-to-business dialogue and recommend policies to enhance corporate governance practices throughout the world. Past Roundtables, held in Beijing, Istanbul, and London have attracted a widely attended audience and have been extremely useful vehicles in advancing business interests on governance issues in these regions.
This year’s Roundtable will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on 18 April 2007, and will focus on governance reforms in several new EU Member States — Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. In particular, the challenges confronting the new Member States in conforming to EU directives affecting corporate governance will be assessed. Please note that the following day will feature the Commission’s biannual meeting.
The Financial Services and Insurance Commission looks forward to your participation.
