ICC ADR and expertise on show
An audience of over 120 lawyers and business representatives heard specialists present the latest additions to ICC's dispute resolution services, ADR and expertise, at a colloquium in Paris on 5 February 2003. Organized by the ICC International Secretariat and ICC France, the event gave corporate lawyers a chance to become better acquainted with ICC's recent innovations in the prevention and resolution of business disputes.
The colloquium was chaired by Robert Briner, Chairman of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. 'The objective of the colloquium was to share information with French companies on how best to deal with difficulties that may arise in the course of business projects. ICC wished to tell businesses what it has to offer and hear what their concerns are,' said Robert Briner.
As Marie Psimnos, Delegate General of ICC France, explained, 'ICC is expanding its dispute resolution services and companies are the direct beneficiaries of such an expansion'.
