In 2010, Korea hosted the Seoul G20 Business Summit. Korean President Lee Myung-bak stated: “Participation from business will reinforce the positive outcome from the official summit, and highlight the vitality that can only be provided by the private sector to further enhance the G20 as an effective forum for promoting global prosperity.”
The Business Summit brought together 120 of the world’s leading business executives. They gathered in Seoul, along with G20 heads of state, to discuss the recovery efforts, see what lies ahead and share thoughts on what must be done in order to ensure strong, sustainable and balanced growth.
