G20 St. Petersburg, Russia 2013

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and its member companies - represented by CEOs from the ICC G20 Advisory Group - were actively engaged in the development of business policy recommendations during the Russian G20 presidency. These efforts culminated in meetings with the June B20 Summit and September G20 Leaders Summit, both held in St. Petersburg, Russia. The aim of ICC's work on the G20 agenda was to ensure that business policy priorities were integrated into the deliberations of G20 heads of state.

G20 heads of state today met with CEOs representing the Business-20 or "B20" during a special session of the G20 Leaders' Summit at Strelna Palace, near St. Petersburg in Russia. The CEOs, including members of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) G20 Advisory Group, presented policy recommendations to the heads of state, urging world leaders to drive economic growth and job creation by liberalizing trade and improving conditions for global investment, particularly in infrastructure.

20 June 2013 - B20 Summit

Mr Putin attended the B20 meeting with business leaders

CEOs from the G20 Advisory Group of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) met in Saint Petersburg with more than 400 other business leaders and top government officials, including Russian President Vladimir Putin to finalize policy recommendations for presentation to the G20 Leaders Summit, to be held in Strelna, Russia from 5-6 September 2013. The B20 Summit was held under the theme "B20-G20 Partnership for Growth and Jobs".
