Produced every three months, the ICC/Ifo World Economic Survey polls over 1,100 economic experts, from business and academic institutions, in over 115 countries, to assess current and expected economic developments in their respective regions.
The poll produces assessments covering western and eastern Europe, Canada and the United States, Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Pacific region, and the Middle East. Questions include relative evaluations of major currencies – dollar, yen, euro and sterling – and a ranking of economic problems.
Ifo produces Germany's most important national business climate index while ICC’s extensive global membership comprises every sector of private enterprise.
This combination of the Institute's expertise in polling and analysis, and ICC's unrivalled business network, guarantees an accurate snapshot of world business sentiment.
The outcomes of each survey are reported in a quarterly news release published on the ICC website.
