Registration opens for Young Arbitrators Day
Paris, 8 December 2008

The afternoon colloquium will delve into relations among the parties, arbitrators and counsel.

Lawyers and in-house counsel will have an opportunity to learn more about international commercial arbitration from renowned arbitration experts on 19 January, when the ICC Institute of World Business Law will host a seminar in Paris at ICC headquarters.

The day-long seminar for international arbitration practitioners of 40 and under will kick off with a lively debate on the “Dos and Don’ts” for counsel, introduced by Simon Greenberg, Deputy Secretary General of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and Maria Hauser, Assistant Counsel at the ICC Court Secretariat. The afternoon colloquium, led by Serge Lazareff, Chairman of the ICC Institute of World Business Law and a highly esteemed international arbitrator, and Ian Kayanakis, Group Vice President Legal of TECHNIP, France, will delve into relations among the parties, arbitrators and counsel.

International arbitration practitioners the world over qualify to attend. Space is limited. The course is eligible for credit in New York, California, England, and Wales and is pending approval by the Paris bar.

The seminar is being held in collaboration with the Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF), launched last June to strengthen links with young arbitrators.
