WTO – ILO Workshop on global trade and employment

The World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) hosted a workshop of leading international researchers on global trade and employment at the WTO in Geneva on the 31 August – 1 September 2009.
 
The aims of the workshop were:
  • Identify and report on the latest research being carried out on global trade and employment
  • Discuss policy options for governments on trade and employment
  • Develop a list of priority issues for research on trade and employment
