ICC/Ifo poll archives World Economic Survey factsheet The International Chamber of Commerce has joined forces with the Munich-based Ifo Institute to produce a regular World Economic Survey comparing business judgments - worldwide - on the global economic outlook. The polls are produced every three months. Each quarter -- the results are sent to the media and simultaneously published on the ICC website: www.iccwbo.org. The ICC/Ifo panel covers over 90 countries. The poll produces assessments covering western and eastern Europe, Canada and the United States, Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Pacific region, and the Middle East. Questions include relative evaluations of the major currencies - dollar, yen, euro and sterling -- and a ranking of economic problems. The joining of forces of these two venerable international business institutions -- ICC and Ifo -- guarantees an accurate snapshot of world business sentiment. Ifo produces Germany's most important national business climate index. ICC's alliance with Ifo combines the Munich Institute's expertise in polling and analysis with ICC's unrivalled business network. ICC boasts more than 8 000 different member companies in over 130 countries and includes many of the world's biggest multinationals.
