Richard Holme

Richard Holme [Rt. Hon. The Lord Holme of Cheltenham CBE] is active in business and public life. Educated at Oxford and the Havard Business School, he started his business career in Unilever. Latterly he was an Executive Director of Rio Tinto. When he retired he became Special Adviser to the Chairman.

Lord Holme is Chair of the ICC Environment Commission and a member of the Executive Board of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He is Vice Chair of the steering committee of Business Action for Sustainable Development. He sits in the House of Lords as a Liberal Democrat Peer and is Chairman of the Hansard Society and Chancellor of the University of Greenwich.
