Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, USA
(http://www.bms.com)

"Bristol-Myers Squibb was an initial supporter to the ICC Business Charter for Sustainable Development, and in 1993 was the first company to develop a global self assessment process for measuring performance against them. In 1997 we modeled our companywide environmental management system, our EHS Codes of Practice, after the Charter. We believe our Codes of Practice reflect not only the spirit and the letter of the Charter, but also encompass critical aspects of ISO 14001. As we move forward with our Sustainability 2010 goals and our vision evolves, we continue to recognize the Charter as a basis of our strategy."
