Delegates from around the world met in Bonn to develop recommendations for priority action for sustainable development in water, focusing on five major areas: access to affordable water and sanitation for the poor; protecting ecosystems and water resources; striking a balance between water for food production and the conservation of nature; management of transboundary water, and coping with floods and droughts. The Conference also featured a multi-stakeholder dialogue session where thirty Business and Industry representatives presented key messages to delegates and Ministers.
