UN Commission on Sustainable Development, 12th Session - Water, Sanitation and Human Settlements - 19-30 April 2004

-- During the High Level Ministerial Segment of the 12th session of UN CSD, chaired by CSD-12 Chair Børge Brende (Norway), Ministers engaged in an interactive discussion with Major Groups on their role and contribution in achieving the goals and targets defin ed in the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation and the Millennium Development Goals, and particularly by releasing the energy of local entrepreneurs and partnerships. Steve Lennon, Chair ICC Commission on Environment and Energy, spoke on behalf of business and industry.
