Information for journalists

3rd World Chambers Congress

Dates: 15-17 September 2003
Venue: Quebec city

Press Accreditation

All news media representatives (reporters, photographers, sound engineers, etc.) must register in advance, be cleared by security and be issued official ICC Media credentials.
Registration is free of charge for accredited media on production of a press card. Please mark 'MEDIA' on your registration form.

Press Facilities

The Congress headquarters will be the Quebec city convention center. A press conference room and working media area equipped with telephone lines, internet access, fax, copy machines will be set up at the hotel.

Press Services

Copies of Congress materials, including schedules, bios of key participants, etc., will be available in the Media Center. ICC staff will be available to facilitate interviews with participants and provide summaries of each day's sessions. Announcements of upcoming sessions, including news releases based on the expected remarks of participants, will also be available. Depending on the interest and level of media attendance at the Congress, a daily briefing on events may be held. The ICC press staff will do its best to accommodate media requests .

Accredited journalists will be welcome to attend open sessions of the Congress.

If heads of state participate in Congress sessions, appropriate media arrangements will be made-and would obviously include added security. (Congress organizers do not expect to have confirmation from heads of state until just prior to, or perhaps even during the event.)
