Communications and Media Relations Internship - Spring 2013
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is looking for a motivated Communications and Media Relations Intern to aid its communications team.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising
with journalists around the globe to update and expand the Communications’
international media database;
- Preparing
for international events;
- Media
monitoring;
Basic computer skills, fluency in English and basic French are required.
Working times are flexible but the ideal candidate would be available to
work at least three full days per week. This is a paid position with a duration of 4-6 months.
Compensation includes a monthly
stipend and “tickets restaurant”.
This is a good opportunity for a student who wants to gain invaluable
communications experience – and exposure – working in an international
organization.

WEB MARKETING INTERNSHIP
The Publishing
Department, part of ICC’s Business Development Department, is seeking a
motivated web-marketing intern/stagiaire to help with the launch of a new
online sales platform, starting in February for 4-6 months. Duties will
include:
- Editing existing content regarding latest SEO guidelines
- Creating appealing visuals and product presentations
- Populating the new platform
- Increasing our online presence with the help of SEO, link
building etc.
- Create content for, animate and monitor our social media
platforms
The ideal candidate
- Must be reliable, autonomous in a fast paced working environment
and have a can-do attitude
- Is computer- and internet-savvy (Microsoft office, search
engines, social media)
- Is native or bilingual in English with good writing skills,
other languages are a strong plus
- A first experience in (online) marketing is necessary
(internship, job or course work)
- A first experience in an international context would be a plus
You will work with
Photoshop, a CMS software, Social Media monitoring tools, so any experience
with these or similar tools will be a strong advantage.

residents, valid papers (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) covering
the full period of the internship. Compensation includes a

WCF Trade Facilitation Internship description
The ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF) is seeking an intern with a convention de stage (for all non-EU residents, valid papers: long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) to participate in our closely knit team, starting from January to June 2013, for a period of 6 months.
The successful candidate will work closely with the WCF Director and the Project officer on the development of the international Certificates of origin (CO) accreditation chain for chambers of commerce, as well as on the World Chambers Network’s project.
Required profile:
• Fluent in English with a strong command of French – the working language is English, other languages a plus
• Proven skills in research, writing and project management
• Ability to manage a fast-paced working international environment, with challenging deadlines
• Autonomous, organized, detail-oriented and ready to take initiative

Business Development Intern
ICC is recruiting a Business Development Intern to work across all departments for a period of 6 months starting on 6 January 2013. This wide and varied role includes developing ICC partnerships, sponsoring opportunities, advertising sales and new revenue streams. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Partnerships Manager to explore and commercialize ICC content, products and business networks.
Required Profile
- Fluent in English with a strong command of French – the working language is English, other languages a plus
- Proven skills in research, writing and project management
- Ability to manage a fast-paced working international environment, with challenging deadlines
- Autonomous, organized, detail-oriented and ready to take initiative

Internship Event Coordination
The internship is for a period of 3 or 6 months starting mid-August 2013.
The intern will be under the supervision of one of our
team’s Project Managers.
Tasks entrusted to the intern include:

- follow up with speakers

English and language skills preferred.
Eligibility conditions
- The intern should be fluent in English, with a good knowledge in French.
- The intern should be organized, meticulous and motivated.
- Good computer skills are required.
