ICC Business Development Internship (January-July 2014)
ICC, the world business organization, is recruiting a Business Development Intern to work across several departments (including Training and Conferences, Policy Commissions, World Chambers Federation, and the Institute of World Business Law). This wide and varied role includes developing ICC partnerships, sponsoring opportunities, advertising sales and new revenue streams. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Partnerships Manager to explore and commercialize ICC content, products and services, and business networks.
Required profile:
- Bilingual English/French – the working language is English
- Proven skills in research, writing, sales and project management
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects in fast-paced working international environment with challenging deadlines
- Organized, detail-oriented and ready to take initiative
- Works well independently
- Pro-active team player
- Sales experience in an international organization a plus
Specific tasks include: - Research potential new sponsors and maintain databases
- Drafting emails to sponsors and follow up
- Coordinating and keeping track of emailing campaigns
- Creation of promotional documents
- Preparation of sponsorship opportunities for projects
- Creation of various materials for projects, including acknowledgements and sponsor fulfillment reports
- Logistical preparations for events
- Updating sponsorship-related content on the ICC website, and internal action plan
- Various administrative tasks as required by the Global Partnerships Manager
Qualifications and skills:
- All programs from Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop/GIMP, Back office, Emailvision
- Proficient user of internet tools with good understanding of web marketing
- Master degree or B.A in marketing preferred
Important information:
- The applicant must be currently enrolled in a third or fourth year of undergraduate (BA/BSc.) or in a graduate (Masters) or post-graduate (PhD) programme, and will continue to be enrolled during the period of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland should get an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- The internship is gratified according to French law (€ 436 ) + meal vouchers
- The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis. The average working week is 35 hours.

ICC Environment and Energy intern (January - July 2014)
The International
Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Commission on Environment and Energy is seeking an intern (for all non-EU residents, valid papers, i.e. long-stay
student visa and/or carte de séjour)
to join our close-knit team in its Paris headquarters as of 15 January 2014 for
a minimum period of 4 months (6 months preferred; until 15 July 2014).
The intern
will assist in the development, preparation, implementation and communication
of new and current Environment and Energy projects and activities.
Responsibilities
will include administrative and substantive tasks:
- Assisting
in organizing the bi-annual Environment and Energy Commission/Task Force on
Green Economy meeting
- Drafting
of minutes and substantive meeting summaries for specific meetings
- Management
and follow-up of day-to-day correspondence with Environment and Energy Commission
members and other stakeholders
- Research
background themes on Environment and Energy Commission- related topics
- ICC
web-site updates
- Other
duties as assigned
Profile:
- Master’s
degree or equivalent (or currently studying for a Master’s degree or equivalent)
- Fluent/native
English speaker with solid English writing skills
- Prior
logistics/event planning/communications experience
- Competent
organizational skills, a quick grasp and a strong can-do attitude
- Meticulous
and motivated in carrying out the required duties
- Interest
in Energy and Environment issues
- A
team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international
environment with a dynamic team
Please note that the applicant must:
- Be currentlyenrolled in a third

- Be willing to intern on

join our close-knit team in its Paris headquarters as of 9 December 2013 for a
minimum period of 4 months (6 months preferred; until May 2014).
The intern
will assist in the development, preparation, implementation and communication
of new and current Digital Economy and BASIS projects and activities.
Responsibilities will include
administrative and substantive tasks:
- Assisting
the Policy Managers in their day-to-day substantive work
- Helping
to prepare the bi-annual Digital Economy Commission meeting (January 2014)
- Drafting
of minutes and substantive meeting summaries for Digital Economy
Commission/BASIS members
- Management
and follow-up of day-to-day correspondence with Digital Economy
Commission/BASIS members and other stakeholders
- Research
into background themes on Digital Economy Commission/BASIS-related topics
- ICC
web-site updates and maintenance
- Assistance
with ad hoc projects
Profile:
- Be
currently enrolled in a master programme (or equivalent) in political science,
law, international relations, international management or related disciplines,
and will continue to be enrolled during the period of the internship
- Fluent/native
English speaker with solid English-writing skills, French is an advantage
- Prior
logistics/event planning/communications experience
- Diligent,
meticulous and motivated in carrying out the required duties
- Competent
time-management and organizational skills, a quick grasp and a strong can-do
attitude
- Previous
exposure to Internet and Telecoms issues and/or an interest in Digital Economy
issues
- A
team player who is highly interested in gaining experience in an international
environment with a dynamic team
