Guarantees (470-48)

This task force considers queries regarding ICC's Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG, ICC Publication 458) and actively promotes the use of these rules, which have now been accepted by the World Bank for use in its unconditional guarantee forms. The Task Force will also undertake a revision of the URDG at a future date.

Drafting of UCP 600 (470-49)

The UCP Drafting group develops drafts of revised UCP Articles for consideration by the Consulting Group (see below) and by the full Commission on Banking Technique and Practice. In doing so, the Drafting Groups sifts through thousands of comments and suggestions on the revision submitted by ICC national committees.

Consulting for Revision of UCP 500 (470-50)

The Consulting Group considers early drafts of the UCP revision produced by the ICC Drafting Group and makes suggestions for changes in these drafts. These changes, when incorporated, are then submitted to the full Commission on Banking Technique and Practice and to ICC national committees for approval.
